Barcelona, Spain

We took a quick trip to Barcelona – literally 24 hours – before heading to Paris. We definitely needed a little more time to see the city, but I think we fit a lot in. We stayed at an AirBNB for the 1 night we were there. I decided we didn’t need a kitchen, and went for a “private room” listing instead. I was super nervous about it, because we would be staying with the…

Segovia, Spain

Segovia is another cool city near Madrid full of castles and ancient buildings 🙂 The city is famous for this first century aqueduct which was built without any kind of mortar, and it’s still functioning! So so cool! There was a 5k the morning we were there, and I would have loved to run in it! Probably good that I didn’t, because the city is built on hills… the runners looked like they were dying……

Toledo, Spain

On our second day in Spain we went to Toledo. It was such a cool little city. The streets were really narrow, and I’m pretty sure we were walking uphill the entire day. We were amazed there were any cars on the streets! Even the train stations were ornate with beautiful tile work everywhere… We walked through the cathedral with an audio guide! Everything was beautiful and had beautiful details. Some of the frescos were fading on…

Madrid, Spain

We can’t believe our trip to Europe is over.. It was so fun, and we can’t wait to go back!! I thought I’d make a post per city that we visited 🙂 We walked about 8-10 miles every day!! The first day in Madrid was the day we got off the plane – I had a cold, and I was slightly delirious from the time change. Flying through the night is pretty awful :/ sleeping on…

New Jersey: Antiques in Lambertville

Hope you had a great weekend! We definitely did 🙂 I was supposed to run 13 miles, but everyone was out of town…. so I didn’t. because 13 miles is boring by yourself. and the bears are starting to wake up. Eric and I have been wanting to walk around and look at antiques (part of our series, How Much Furniture Can Danielle and Eric Fit In Their Tiny Apartment), so he found this cute little…

Princess Half Marathon 2016 Recap

Now I want to write about the logistics of the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend. I love love love Disney World, but the actual event was not as fun as I expected this time around. There weren’t enough honest posts about how everything works as a participant, so I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. Next year we’re doing things differently, but I want to share what we learned. Submitting a Proof…

Disney Princess Half Marathon 2016

Race Day for the Disney Princess Half Marathon started with waking up at 3am to get in our costumes. Our cab arrived at 3:30am, so that we wouldn’t hit traffic on our way to the park. Over 30,000 people participate in the race, so transportation can be tricky. waiting in our corral before running! There’s a really long walk from where the buses/cabs drop people off, and the start line… probably close to a mile……

Day 2: Epcot

We spent the second day of our Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend  in Epcot! In the morning we went to a RunDisney weekend breakfast with 4 princesses! So we got to take pics with Ariel, Snow White, Mulan, and Cinderella. They’re so fun 🙂 My shirt is from Walmart, but it’s actually cute and comfy! I didn’t want to spend much on clothes I won’t wear any other time of the year… Next, we went into the park…

Day 1: Magic Kingdom

We had a super quick trip to Disney World for the Disney Princess Half Marathon, but it was definitely worth it! I was going to combine Friday & Saturday into a blog post – but there are too many pics! Stef was super prepared with ALL OF THE GLITTERY THINGS. because when you get to be a disney princess all weekend, you wear all the glitter. We flew out of EWR on Thursday night –…

Home Tour: Stef’s Christmas Apartment

I’ve been trying to do a home tour of Stef’s apartment for months, and we’re finally getting around to it! She claims that her decor is best at Christmas anyway! My sister loves Christmas… she has a tiny apartment, but last year she managed to fit 3 trees in there. This year she only did 2 🙂 Her apartment has so much glitter and shimmer everywhere! very fun!! Duvet Cover/ Shams and Rug from West…
